Introducing our New SEND Leadership Team
We are delighted to write to you today to introduce the newest members of our Specialist Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) leadership team here at Wilmington.
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive education for all our students, we are pleased to welcome Mrs S Quinn as Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and our new Specialist Resourced Provision (SRP) Lead, Mrs V Finn.
Strengthening Our Support
Our new leads bring a wealth of experience and a shared passion for ensuring that every child has the tools and support they need to thrive. They are particularly eager to build on the existing foundations of our SEND department and the SRP to ensure that our provision remains student-centered and effective.
In addition each college has an Inclusion Lead who SENCo trained:

Working Together
The new team is looking forward to supporting and working closely with parents to ensure a collaborative approach to student success. We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is vital in helping our students reach their full potential, and we value your insight and involvement immensely.
